I've got the first class si, not the comfort plus one though.

It has been an excellent seat for us. We used it rear-facing occasionally when Harry was small, he was really comfy in it although it was a bit of a faff to get him in over the seat-belt - but actually not more than a stage 0 that you already had buckled in iyswim

I've been using it for 3.5yrs now and it is still in very good condition. It's easy to fit in the car and to buckle kiddies in.

If you want to know anything more specific, just ask!

i have the same as ali, its fab. easy to fit, very secure and safe feeling and lots of different routing ways so fits in most cars.
i have never used it on a new newborn tho, only from about 4 months.

Jules, will it fit in their car? THe reason I ask is we have been very restricted as to car seats because David and his parents love their Honda's. Basically anything can go in my Seat, but their cars are a nightmare.

I thought the britax first class was a stage 1 car seat!

I know that Lucas wouldn't fit into it now!

we have the britax eclipse, cheaper than the first class, smaller so fits in more cars (the first class wouldn;t fit in my old polo as the base was too big for the seat  and it wouldn't fit in my scenic with the other 2 seats we need aswell!!), and lasts until 4 years of age!

It's a stage 0/1

I've not found much difference between it and the eclipse which my SIL has, if anything maybe a bit more room in the first class.

I 0rdered 0ne, was g00d value and I had a c0uple 0f g00d rep0rts ab0ut it. Half price s0 0nly £70.

It pr0bably w0n't get used as a stage 0 carseat but will be handy as a spare. My mum and dad want 0ne f0r summer s0 they can take Zach 0ut in the car with0ut having t0 plan it with us

Thanks f0r the replies.
