Well, it didn't take long before I was forced to re-evaluate my stash.
The Ittis were, although slimmish and absorbant, an awful fit once Merry started walking. That, and the hardness of the inserts (rather a cardboard effect that bamboo often has) prompted me to give them the heave-ho, so we were back to fluffles and wraps when at home and WN AI2s when out and about.
OK so today wasn't too bad, felt a bit rubbish this morning and could quite happily have gone back to sleep when Austin got up at 6.20 but I got up and got on with the day. Nausea coming and going, the heat hasn't helped and I have had to eat something about every 2 hours but I am trying to get meals in with snack between and it seems to have worked a bit better. Okay - so the day before we start homeschooling officially as it were, I have had gallbladder surgery (keyhole) so am feeling a bit sore and need to sit and recover!
So day one was dvds but that's ok - day -1 was DH taking the girls to the science museum and a ride on Thomas and some craft activities while I was in the hosp so actually I'd prefer to count that (and the whole of the summer...
