Leaky dips

by june2007 on Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:49 am
I spent xmas round my inlaws and then my parents away from home. I decided to use disps for when I was away as I did not want to produce my mother with having to wash the clothies. Mmm so much for saving on washing, the disps leaked so much that I had to wash the baby grows as I would have run out otherwise. My mum had a different brand to me thinking they leaked less, I wasn't so sure. So if anyone asks if cloth nappies leak, in my experience less then disposables do.

I was a bit skeptical when i first heard about them, and a few months ago i bought one and forgot all about it! Then I got it out and gave it to Molly, who had so much fun with it that I thought more were needed! She even asked for her "red blanket" this morning, and still hasn't let it out of her sight :giggle: They are great for using in role-play, and are suitable for children of all ages....

My 12 month old was dry over 7 hours last night! WOO HOO!

by tribalbaby on Sun Aug 16, 2009 10:16 am
Ahh, had a milestone last night, I'm thrilled.

As Jett has a brace on / between his legs for his clubfoot correction, I can't do night EC as I did with Mavey, though I tried for 9-10 months!

He wears an eco disposable each night, I empty it in the garden!

Anyhoo, I'm running out - have three left, so on stretching out mode (I hate buying more nappies)

I use some cloth, but dislike the wetness, he wriggles so much.

Last night I put a hand towel in a snap cover at about 7 when he passed out.
