Ok so I'm lazy and I probably should have done this before mid January but it's a bit late for that now and to be quite honest we've been a tad busy since Xmas. We haven't been up to much, I'm just in a good place at the moment. I don't think I have been much happier than I am now. When I'm not happy I'm content, and I think that is a really good thing. 3rd one!

I thoroughly enjoyed it today, had same instructor so was abit apprehensive. As in my 2nd lesson i wasn't as keen. Anyway i did work with no stirrups as well as holding reins in one hand and putting hand onto head, hip etc with other hand.
Also had me checking my correct diagonal too which was good. I also cantered for first time too, just a short one, since i returned to the saddle so that was good. Feeling pretty pleased with the way it went!!

Last weeks private lesson

I took the opportunity to have a half hour private lesson on the same horse but it was my riding instructors (RI) day off so i had a different one. My canters are still abit ropey at times. She said my position in trot is good but then i lean forward trying to get the horse into canter as if i am urging him to go into canter and then i get all unbalanced in my position.

I am still enjoying the lessons though and keeping it fun!!
